Mira
MIRA is an adorable BLACK PERSIAN who is 4 years old. She has been spayed, has all of her claws and beautiful Gold Eyes. She is a tiny girl at just over 5 pounds. She has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to her forever home.
Mira came to rescue from a loving home that started having human health issues and could no longer keep their kitty. She has a delightful underbite and loves all things. She has even learned to tolerate the foster parents dog. Mira follows her foster mom around the house and enjoys sitting in the top of the cat towers. She twines herself around her legs and loves pets. She even tolerates brushing.
A recent vet appointment revealed Mira has a few medical concerns that need to be closely monitored, and she needs an adopter who is committed to taking her in for regular vet appointments in case they should progress. Specifically, she has a mild heart murmur, borderline high blood pressure, and signs of early kidney disease. She is doing great on medications and a prescription diet, which will need to be maintained in her new home, but many cats do well with these conditions for a long time when caught at such an early stage. For this reason, she is being listed as special needs kitty. She is currently healthy and doing all the things that a 4 year old kitty would do. She takes her medication well via syringe and eats her new food like a champ. She will go to her furever home with at least a month’s supply of food and a month’s supply of her medication.
