MINNIE is a one year old female GOLDEN SHADED BRITISH LONGHAIR. She is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She does have all of her claws and uses a scratching post appropriately.

Minnie is a sweet girl who enjoys attention. She may take a bit of time to adjust, but once she is comfortable and knows her humans, she enjoys being near and watches everything going on. She loves pets, but is not a lap cat at this time. She does fine with being picked up and carried around.

Minnie enjoys playing with springs, crinkle balls, and wand toys. She is not overly energetic, but if you pull out a wand toy, she is willing to play.

Minnie eats both wet and dry food. She comes running for her wet food, so we will need someone committed to continuing this for her. She has wonderful litter box habits. She does well with nail clipping and brushing. She will need to be brushed about 2X per week, so she does not mat.

Minnie came into care with several other cats and would do well having another cat for company. She likes the company of other cats, but is a mild mannered girl. A kitty looking for a rough and tumble playmate would not work well for Minnie. She would probably do fine with dogs given a slow introduction, but she would not do well with a dog looking for a playmate and would need the dog to mostly ignore her. Minnie would do fine with respectful children.
