Miles

MILES is a SEAL POINT SIAMESE with strikingly blue eyes. He is 6 years old, neutered, has his claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. He weighs a little over 7 lbs.

Miles came into our rescue when his owner noticed that he wasn’t happy living with their female cat. They had rescued him from a shelter and rather than sending him back to the shelter, they reached out to SPCR and of course we said yes, we will take him into foster care.

While in foster care, we found out that Miles had a couple of health issues that needed to be addressed. He is now ready for his permanent home. Miles is the most slender little male cat his foster mom has cared for. Despite offering him a variety of different foods, he is not a food motivated cat (unlike my own female Siamese who is a voluptuous 10+ lbs. and has once managed to sneak into his room to avail herself of his left over food ). His foster mom thinks he may have been the runt of the litter, but he must have been well socialized as a kitten because he is so sweet, trusting, and gentle. There is not a mean bone in his slender body towards humans. He even allows his nails to be trimmed without any fuss whatsoever…wish all my fosters were that easy .

Miles is not a play monster, but he is an adorably sweet little cuddle bug. When his foster mom comes into his room, he comes around for some extensive loving, which includes soft belly rubs, as well as ear and head rubs. Miles’ perfect home has a human who spends a good amount of time sitting while doing computer work, watching TV or reading books, and who doesn’t mind having a sweet, furry little lap warmer for company. When his foster mom takes a therapeutic nap, he likes to snuggle between her legs. Ideally he would want to be allowed to sleep in bed at night with his human(s).

This gentle little lamb who has the softest little meow is looking for a chill, calm, and stress free home. We want to find him a home where he can be and remain an only pet. His paperwork suggests that he is frightened of dogs, which given his slender stature and somewhat timid nature, is no surprise. Young children would be too much for him.

Miles eats both wet and dry food. He is using his litter box perfectly.
