MACY is a stunning CHINCHILLA SILVER PERSIAN. She’s spayed, front-paw declawed, weighs a tiny six pounds and turns 12 years old on New Year’s Day. Her foster mom thinks that Macy is likely the most glamorous Persian to ever come through her doors – which says a lot because Macy’s foster family has hosted more than 700 cats in the past 10 years. But we can’t hide the truth!

This princess has a breed standard chinchilla undercoat of pure white with an ever-so-slightly black-tipped coat on her back, head and tail … add classic emerald eyes with heavy eyeliner, brick nose leather and the sweetest open-eyed expression in cat history. An adorable snaggle tooth and serious bedhead catapult this girl’s cuteness to a level that’s one for the history books.

Macy knows that pretty is as pretty does. And while she’s on the independent side, she appreciates fans who adore her and pet her from time to time. She’s a kitty who prefers to sit beside her people, not directly on their laps. Macy loves a soft blanket on the couch during family time. And although she’s not a spring chicken (don’t tell her that), Macy still likes chasing toys, crinkle balls and feather wands.

For most of her life, Macy has been treated like the princess she is. Her family loved her, but circumstances didn’t allow them to continue to care for her. She’s looking for someone special willing to give her the daily care she needs.

Now, no one becomes and remains this gorgeous without a serious beauty routine, and Macy has one. She must be combed and have her eyes cleaned daily. Macy’s mom combed her every day, and we’ve honored that tradition in foster care. While this girl is used to it, we cannot say she loves it. Modeling herself after legendary glamour queens of yesteryear, Macy fusses and provides coaching during her personal care sessions. But it’s all good – we love a girl who knows her own mind!

Macy also has a sensitive tummy and is on prescription dry and wet food. She needs to go to a home willing to purchase it for her.

You can tell by now that we’re looking for a special home for this lamb. She lived with another cat most of her life and is peacefully rooming with a gentle Persian in foster care. We think she’d do fine with another laid-back feline, but alpha kitties and dogs would likely be too much for her. Older, respectful kids would be welcome. It’s important that Macy’s new family understand and commit to her daily care. In return, she’ll warm your heart with her sweet, funny ways – before you know it, you’ll be smitten.

We anticipate a lot of applications for this legendary looker. She hopes to be home for the holidays.
