Lacey

Lacey is an adorable 3-year-old LAVENDER AND WHITE BICOLOR SELKIRK REX/TONKINESE mix. She is a petite seven pounds, spayed, and has her claws. This sweet girl came into rescue because her family could no longer care for her.

What a sweet treat in a tiny package! This girl would make a purrfect addition to most any family. She came into rescue with others and is currently rooming with one of her “sisters.” Lacey loves her foster family and any kind of attention. She can be a bit shy meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up – and when she does, she will steal your heart in an instant. We know because it happened to us.

This girl has an easy-care, short coat with charming waves inherited from her mom, a purebred Selkirk Rex. She couldn’t be more adorable from her sweet dark brick nose leather to her tiny white socks. But Lacey’s real charm lies in her sweet personality. Wherever her people are is where this super social kitty wants to be.

Lacey has a sequestrum on her right eye and is being treated twice daily with prescription eye ointment. We’ll have some for her to take home, but it’s important for her new family to understand the commitment to continued eye treatment and follow up eye care with a vet. The meds are around $40/month. Once her sequestrum resolves, she will likely be able to discontinue the ointment.

This gentle lamb would be a great fit in most any home. From a single fur mom or dad to a family with a houseful of respectful kids, Lacey will be all in. Other fur buds would likely be okay, but we recommend proper introductions to ensure a smooth transition.
