Kingsley

KINGSLEY is a Gorgeous 5 year old, CFA registered BLUE MINK TONKINESE with beautiful sea glass green-blue eyes. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, feluk/FIV negative, received a dental, microchipped and has his claws.

As a foster we try not to fall too much in love with the cats/ kittens under our care but Kingsley has made that a much harder task. Kingsley came in very shy and unsure of everything new around him. It took him several weeks to learn that he was safe and loved. Given the time he needed to settle in, he now shows just what a lover he is. One of his favorite things to do is to sit on your lap and be pet including having his belly rubbed, as you see in one of his video. He is a sensitive boy, but one we know will bond deeply with his person once in his forever home.

He now will play and has his favorite small toys that he tosses up in the air and pounces on to keep himself entertained as well as playing with wand toys with you. Of course, he likes a good nap, and watching what’s happening outside. He isn’t a big talker but will speak up when he is looking for attention, affection, food, or all three. He eats both wet and dry food but really likes his wet food. His litter box use is 100%.

At this point in time Kingsley is most comfortable being around adult female humans. We know he’s going to need a quiet, stable home environment, with no children as they would just be too much for him. He is ok with being on his own during the day, but of course, he’d be just fine if someone were home all the day too. We know he’d love to be someone’s one and only kitty cat, that way he could receive all the lap time he desires! But he has been slowly introduced to a couple of his foster homes own cats and does best with younger easy-going cats that understand he sees himself as the alpha kitty. No dogs.
