Keni and Leni

KENI and LENI are 3- and 2-year-old PERSIANS. They are neutered, up to date on vaccines, and FIV and FeLV negative. They surrendered to us due to the previous owner’s allergies.  They have good litter box skills, all their claws and are being fostered in Minneapolis, MN.

Keni is a gorgeous Pewter colored Persian with amber colored eyes.  He is the more reserved cat until he gets to know you.  Once he opens up, he follows you everywhere.  He chirps and wants to sit right next to you on a couch or bed.  He loves to run around and join your side to make biscuits. He came in very matted and once he got his lion cut, his personality really started to shine. He will need a patient home to help him learn to enjoy grooming.  He loses patience with combing, but in time he will learn to love it if done regularly and with positive reinforcement.

Leni is a beautiful bi-colored orange and white Persian with amber colored eyes.  He is inquisitive and affectionate.  He loves being pet and will roll over for belly rubs.  He recently was groomed, had a bath and deshedding comb out.  His coat is glorious right now.  He does enjoy being groomed, more so that Keni.  He will need a home that will take the time to keep up on his grooming regime.

We encourage Keni and Leni to be adopted together.  They have been together for Leni’s entire life.  They have been through two homes so far and they find comfort in each other.  They are still young and playful.  But being Persians, they are relatively mellow and seek their humans’ love and affection.  They will need a home that is experienced with long haired breeds, smushed faces and the special grooming they need with their long coats and eyes.

Keni and Leni are tolerant of other cats, gentle dogs and would do fine in a home with respectful children.
