KAYLA is a sweet 1 year old BLUE LYNX POINT HIMALAYAN that has been spayed, and has beautiful Blue Eyes. She is just over 6 pounds. She has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to her forever home.

Kayla came to rescue from a breeder whose home situation changed and she was no longer able to keep her kitties. She is not particular about what she eats. She is 100% with her litter box and even uses the litter robot in her room. She enjoys playing with wands, mice, balls, and springs. She was matted when she came in and had to have a few spots cut out and those are still growing back in.  Her fur mats easily and she will need regular grooming and eye care.

Kayla is very shy and startles easily.  She is finally starting to explore her outside her foster room, but most loud noises send her back to her room.  When she came in she would belly crawl around the room.  She is still fairly shy but her love of petting is winning out on the shyness. She leans into head scratches and pets once she is secure in her surroundings. She does also chat with her foster mom when she is feeling the need to express any concerns she has. She lived with multiple cats, and does well with most cats.  The resident boxer does not seem to bother her at all. It is unknown if she was ever around children. Because of her previous situation, she would probably do better in a quieter home.   She would probably be fine with older respectful children.

She has a delightful snaggle tooth and will have a beautiful silky coat.
