Mikey and June Bug
MIKEY and JUNE BUG are stunning BICOLOR PERSIANS with van coat patterns (color predominantly on their head and tails). Mikey is a blue-and-white, eight-year-old male who weighs nine pounds. He’s neutered and front-paw declawed. June Bug is a seven-and-a-half-year-old black-and-white female. She’s spayed and front-paw declawed. We suspect these kits are from the same breeder and might be siblings from different litters.
In any case, they are a super-sweet pair of kitties, and a Persian-loving owner’s dream come true. The duo was surrendered to rescue when their human passed away. Because they’ve always been together, we’d like to see them stay together.
These babies are calm, gentle lambs who spend their days lounging and gazing out windows. You can catch Mikey’s attention with a minky wand, but for the most part these sweethearts would be happy to simply lounge on the couch with their fam. We think they’d do best in a quiet house. They love their canned food and are asking to go to a home where they can continue to get it daily.
Both are relatively high-maintenance kits, typical of their breed. They have gorgeous but dense, cottony coats in need of regular combing at home or occasional groomer visits to stay mat free. Both are currently growing out of lion cuts. Typical of their breed, they each require daily eye cleaning. For these reasons, we favor placing them in a Persian-experienced home firmly committed to keeping them free from mats.
We don’t know if these two lived with other animals, but they are friendly and low-key. So, with proper introductions, we think they’d probably do fine with another fur bud or two. A gentle, older dog who wouldn’t bark or chase them would likely be fine. Older, respectful kids would be great.
Mikey recently had a dental with no extractions and both kits have been given a clean bill of health from our vet. They’ve got their duds packed are patiently waiting for their new family to come take them to their new kingdom.
