Jolene

This little beauty is JOLENE. She is a WHITE DOMESTIC MEDIUM HAIR, with gold eyes. She is almost 4 months old, spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, tested negative for Felv/FIV, dewormed, microchipped and has her claws.

Jolene has a wonderful outgoing personality. She likes to cuddle and will begin to purr when you pick her up and start petting her.  She also likes to show her affection for you by coming up and rubbing her face on yours and sometimes will give you little kisses on your nose or chin.  She will snuggle up to her foster mom at night, and even if she doesn’t stay there all night long, she’ll be there to greet her when she wakes up in the morning.  She was the second kitty, after Koda,  to want to explore what lay beyond their foster room, so we know she has confidence too.  Like her brother Frederick and all her roommates , she loves to play, eat,  play some more, cuddle, nap and then repeat all of that!  She too likes to find a warm sunny spot to maybe catch a nap in and she also likes to sit in the window to watch what’s happening outside in the neighborhood from wildlife to people.

Jolene would love it if she was adopted with her brother Fredrick or one of the other kitties that she is currently rooming with. But if not, she will definitely need to have another kitty or young at heart kitty already in the home. One that she can play and wrestle with and will keep her company.

She has met some of her foster homes own cats and so we know she should be fine with older, gentle cats that won’t bully her.  As far as we know she has not been around a dog before, but she may be fine, given a slow and proper introduction, with a calm, gentle dog that has lived with little kittens before.  She should be fine with older, respectful kids who have lived with young kittens before and know how kittens need to be approached and picked up and how they play.

Don’t know that this Jolene would take someone’s man……..(like in the Dolly Parton song). But she sure hopes she‘ll captures someone’s heart.
