IRIS is a gorgeous female BLUE BALINESE MIX. She is spayed and has all of her claws. She just turned 2 years old.  She is up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and is microchipped. Iris does well with her litter box with no issues. She does prefer an open box.

Iris came into care when her people were moving and were not able to take her with them. Iris does start off shy, but once she is comfortable, she will rub up against you and roll over for belly pets. Yes, she does enjoy belly pets! She enjoys playing with wand toys and a variety of catnip toys and springs. Iris loves eating both dry and wet food.

She previously lived with a small dog and other cats, so her foster mom believes if introduced properly, she would do fine with another respectful pet. She likely will not be a rough and tumble kind of kitty looking for a wrestling playmate, but rather a respectful buddy. Iris has also been exposed to older and younger children and does fine with them as well as long as they are respectful.
