Hector

HECTOR is an adorable DOMESTIC MEDIUM HAIR; he’s neutered and has his claws. A big boy, Hector weighs 15 pounds and is estimated to be around seven years old.

This sweet but shy boy came into rescue after his owner passed away. He was living with several cats at the time and is peacefully rooming with three other cats in rescue now. Hector wears a shiny, easy-care, medium-length black-and-white coat and arguably has the most adorable face in rescue. Can you say emerald eyes?? We can only guess, but at one point this boy must have been living outside because his ear is tipped. But rest assured, Hector loves the indoor life and free-flowing meals served up regularly – he especially loves wet food and treats.

Hector had a dental with no extractions and complete blood work up and was given a clean bill of health by our vet.

This boy would do just fine joining a family with other fur buds, or he’d be great as an only. He came in with Cookie (also in Hector’s video) and they would make a lovely pair if you’re looking for two. We guess that Hecky would be fine with gentle dogs and older, respectful kids. He remains on the shy side but loves to be petted and is just a sweet purr bug who warms up quickly. He still is tenuous in situations with unfamiliar people or sounds and is asking for a patient family who will let him blossom in his own time.
