Gertrude
GERTRUDE is a gorgeous BI-COLOR RAGDOLL with lovely blue eyes. She is 2 years old, spayed, has her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, and FIV/FeLV negative. She weighs about 9.5 lbs.
Gertrude’s original owner was heartbroken that she had to give up her dream cat but felt it was the right thing to do for Gertrude. The owner’s young child was just too active and noisy for this gentle beauty.
Gertrude’s foster mom has had the pleasure of fostering a few Ragdolls before and they are always just so fun to interact with – and of course lovely to look at. Aside from being stunning, Gertrude is sweet and easy going. She likes being petted and when she is really happy, she does the famous Ragdoll flop to expose her belly for some extra rubs.
Gertrude allows her foster mom to pick her up for a moment so she can bestow some kisses on her adorable face. When her foster mom watches TV, Gertrude likes to hang out on her lap for a while. She is not a super active girl, but does enjoy interacting with the mink wand toy or DaBird when her foster mom swirls it around for her to catch.
In her previous home, Gertrude lived with a male Birman who she was great friends with. She is currently rooming with another female foster without any issues. Therefore her foster mom thinks one other gentle non-dominant cat of similar breed will be okay for her, but she would also thrive as an only kitty. We don’t know how she would be with a dog. Young children (now or in the future) will not be appropriate for this gentle soul.
She eats both wet and dry food, has been fully vetted and is using her litter box appropriately.
ADOPTION FEE $300. FOSTERED IN MEQUON, WI.
