Elton

Meet Elton! He is an 8-year-old, Seal Point Mitted Ragdoll who has his claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is neutered, and he is microchipped.  Additionally, he had blood work done along with a dental to fully prepare him to start fresh in his new, loving home!

Elton is as sweet as can be once he learns that he can trust you. He is a very shy boy when meeting new people or entering a new environment, so his first instinct may be to hide. But don’t let that fool you—there is a loving, affectionate boy who wants to share your love.  He just needs a little time and patience to settle in and then he can easily be bribed with Lickable treats and wet food.

Once you’ve earned Elton’s trust, you’ll discover just how affectionate he can be!  Elton loves rubbing all over his people for pets and may even make a little happy drool while curled up on your lap enjoying some attention.

Elton came to SPCR after his owner passed away, and he is now looking for a quiet, loving home where he can take his time adjusting and build a special bond with his new family.

Elton enjoys play sessions, dinner time, and, of course, plenty of snuggles afterward. He would do best with someone who understands that earning a shy cat’s trust takes patience—but that the love you receive in return is absolutely worth it.  While children and dogs would be too stressful, he may do well with another easy-going cat.

Elton is the kind of cat who could make a quiet home feel complete. Give him the time he needs, and you may just become his favorite person.
