DEXTER is a darling RED AND WHITE CORNISH REX. He is 3 years old, neutered and has his claws. He weighs around 9 pounds and has an easy, short curly coat and bright gold eyes. Dexter came to us from an owner who could not longer care for him but he is doing extremely well in foster care and is now ready for his FurEver home!

The best word to describe Dexter is INTENSE. He is intensely affectionate, intelligent and sensitive! As a result we are looking for a very specific type of home so this wonderful boy will thrive like he should. Dexter loves and needs LOTS of one one-on-one attention. He adores being picked up and held and will follow his foster mom all over trying to “help.” This is NOT a couch potato kitty that can be left alone for endless hours with no attention. He wants to be with his people!

Dexter could possibly be in a home with another laid back cat or dog that would ignore him, but what he really wants is to be front and center in someone’s life and attention! He will reward them with hugs and kisses and the kind of devotion that only a great Cornie can provide.

Dexter needs to be kept on FreshPet food ONLY to do his best. The best home for him will be experienced with highly active breeds like Sphynx, Rex, Orientals, Abys or Siamese and have the time to give to this very needy guy.
