CYRUS is a chatty, interactive 1 and a half year old BROWN TABBY MAINE COON that has been neutered, and has large green eyes. He has all of his claws and is just over 16 pounds. He has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to his forever home.

Cyrus was an owner surrender because her older Maine Coon was picking on him.

Cyrus lived with another cat, and seems to be very sensitive to stress. He would vomit bile at night and they were working on how to fix that.  He has not had this issue at all in his foster home and he has gotten along well with the other kitties in the room.  He loves wet and dry food, and has been 100% in his litter box, however, he is a LARGE cat and will therefore need a large box.

Cyrus is very vocal like most Maine Coons.  He loves to play with all manner of toys.  He does not like his carrier and gets anxious on any trips.  He also does not like to be brushed(the undercarriage), although we have been working on that.  He does not like to be carried, but will tolerate being picked up.  He will need to go to a home with no alpha kitty- quiet laid back cats should be fine.  Dogs that ignore him would probably be fine, no small children-older respectful children would be ok.  His preferred home, would have some experience with large, long haired cats.
