Cream Puff

CREAM PUFF is a beautiful BLUE CREAM TABBY AMERICAN CURL with soft silky long fur, lovely green eyes, cute curl ears and an exquisite face. She is 5 years old, spayed, has all her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. She weighs a little over 9 lbs.

Cream Puff was surrendered to our organization when her previous owner realized that the home environment was just too much for this delicate and sensitive beauty. Hiding away all day to get away from the hustle and bustle of their active household is no life for a kitty.

Cream Puff pulls on her foster mom’s heart strings with her elegant and unique looks, but also her quiet, reserved and shy demeanor. She currently prefers a quiet space, whether that is on a low cat tree, hanging out in a cat cube, or perched on a window ledge. However, when her foster mom approaches her and starts to love on her, the foster mom is rewarded with the elevator butt and then Cream Puff rolls over for some extensive belly rubs. She also enjoys being brushed with a particular soft ZoomGroom brush that will come with her to her new home.

Her foster mom cannot guarantee how long it will take for Cream Puff to come around on her own to sit next to her person. It might never happen, or once she feels safe and is in the best suited home environment, it might happen. Therefore her ideal home is with an understanding, compassionate adopter who understands that some cats need a little extra time to become very comfortable in their new surroundings. Cream Puff is currently also not very interested in playing, but again, with time and the right guardian, she may find her inner huntress.

While she has lived with other cats and dogs, her foster mom really envisions a home without any other animals to be the best home for her. Older, cat savvy children would be fine for her.

Cream Puff eats both wet and dry food and is using her litter box perfectly. She will come to her new home with a recent dental. Lastly, since American Curls are predisposed to ear issues, mainly ear infections, due to the particular structure of their ears, a yearly vet exam is an absolute must. This elegant little lady is ready for her forever home.
