Cocoa and Sadie

Hello! My name is Cocoa and this is my sister, Sadie. We are 9 year old seal point Birman sisters. We are up to date on shots, spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, microchipped, and front paw declawed. So basically, if you are into bargains…we are purrfect; a real two for one deal!

I am the outgoing of the two of us; I can really handle a lot. My foster mama said I instantly was ready for love and cuddles when she met me. I love to lay on my foster mom and she has this 3 month old little person that I love to lay with also during their night time story time. They introduced me to their big German Shepherd and I mean I didn’t hide or anything but I was on high alert. This thing just laid down the whole time, but I kept a watchful eye…just in case.

Now Sadie, my sister, she is bit different compared to me. Sadie is very shy and it took a month for her to come up to our foster mama and let her pet her. Sadie has her safe places she goes to, but after some time, she does come out to see what is going on. My foster mama has been big on letting her explore on her own terms and I think that is why Sadie finally lets her pet her without fear. Sadie also really likes windows. When foster mama comes home, she sees her in the windows a lot. Foster mama and I are working hard with Sadie, but foster mama said it is time for us to find our fur-ever home.

I am my sister’s protector. I mean, I have been with her for her whole life! When she sees me doing something, she tends to want to follow me so I guess you could say I help her be brave. Considering this, we really want to stay together…I mean I shared a womb with this girl and everything!

Here is our house hunting wish list:

  • A home big enough for the two of us
  • Windows. We love windows
  • Heights! Not only do we like to climb high, but it helps Sadie be confident by having a place to look over everything
  • A quiet home with preferably no other animals to allow Sadie to really blossom.

Our foster mama is pretty heartbroken because she wanted to keep us, but after a long talk, she told me it would be selfish for her to adopt us. She said Sadie’s ideal home would be a quiet home that would give her patience and time to grow confident again. Our foster mama has 6 cats, a 3 month old little person, and a German Shepherd so as you can imagine, Sadie would be pretty miserable even though they have been nice and gentle. I will miss my foster mama because I really like it here, but we want what is best for Sadie. I am excited to go on this new adventure with my sister and cannot wait to find our fur-ever home! ADOPTION FEE $300 for the PAIR.  FOSTERED IN MUSKEGO, WI.
