Project Description

Chocolate is a 2 year old blind, GOLD PERSIAN who has her claws. Chocolate came to SPCR from Kuwait. She is spayed and weighs 7 pounds.  Chocolate has come a long way in the two months she has been in foster care. She gets along great with other easy-going cats and low activity dogs that don’t chase her. She can also be an only cat. Chocolate enjoys being held when you are sitting down. Chocolate is learning how to climb on furniture and cat trees, but never goes on the kitchen table or counters. She is just learning to walk on stairs. She can go up much easier than walking down on her own, but, in time and with continued training,  she will learn how walk down alone as well.  Chocolate is looking for a home where she can continue to learn and enjoy life. She will be a beautiful cat with a full persian coat when her fur grows out. Blind cats do best in a home that is quiet, where people do not move furniture frequently, or set things in the middle of the room as they memorize their pathways. ADOPTION FEE $200. FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL.
