Carver

This Very Handsome and Lovable boy is CARVER.  He is a 3 year old Classic DARK BROWN TABBY WITH WHITE MAINE COON MIX.  He is neutered, Up To Date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and has his claws and a couple extra ones too, as he is polydactyl on his front paws.

Carver is a wonderful boy who hasn’t met anyone he didn’t think was already his best friend, including the staff at the veterinary clinic that saw him for his wellness visit! Simply put, he Loves people. He loves being pet, and almost always likes to roll onto his side or back to show off his snow white belly fur. And speaking of fur, his coat is so shiny and silky soft to the touch and he has beautiful gold-green eyes!   He does like being brushed, although at times he thinks the brush is a toy so you don’t get very far with grooming him.  Speaking of toys, he’s playful, but not overly so. He likes catnip toys and wand toys and of course things that move on their own.  He does like to talk at times, but it’s just to remind you that he’s always available for pets and that he’s there for you.
He does like to spend time, like most all kitties do, sitting in a window or a cat tree and watching what’s going on outside. And don’t forget about those all important nap times.  He eats both wet and dry food and his litter box use is 100%.  We also want to make note, because he is a polydactyl kitty,  he does fine with having his claws trimmed at home.  The couple extra claws just need to be monitored a bit more often for trimming as they can grow into the paw pads.

Carver is a wonderful boy and if you were to come meet him we know you would fall in love with him and he you.  What Carver doesn’t love is to have to share your affections with another cat.   He feels he is such a handsome and lovable boy, no one needs another cat.  Hence, Carver needs to be an only cat.  As his foster home doesn’t have a dog, we are not certain how he would be around one. He may be fine, given a very slow introduction  with a dog that has lived with cats before.  He has not been around kids at his foster home either, but because he is a confident boy he should be fine with older kids.  And we know he’d love it if someone were home with him most of the day because he is a people cat.

Again, Carver is a Wonderful Outgoing Cat and is going to make his adopter(s) Very Happy that they adopted him!
