Boba
BOBA is an adorable ORANGE EXOTIC SHORTHAIR with copper eyes. He is 2 years old, neutered, has his claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. He weighs around 7 lbs.
Boba was surrendered to SPCR after his owner came to the sad realization that their home environment was too stressful for him. They asked if our organization could help find him a calmer environment and of course we said yes.
Boba has a pretty typical Exotic Shorthair personality. He is sweet, easy going, low energy and well behaved. As soon as his foster mom checks in on him, he comes up to her to say hello and to receive some pets. He enjoys being around his foster mom and when she watches some TV, he will often snuggle right next to her to keep her company for a while. He can also spend time just hanging out by himself. His favorite places currently are the highest perch on a tall cat tree or watching out of a window to see what’s going on. Although his foster mom wouldn’t exactly consider him a play monster, he does get into the action for a bit when she swishes a mink wand toy or Da Bird toy around for him to catch.
He seems to really enjoy the company of other cats that are similar in style, so a buddy or two around his own age who are also pretty laid back would be a good companion for him. He would also be fine as a single kitty where he can soak up some undivided love and attention from his human(s).
His foster parents don’t have dogs, and neither did his previous home, so we don’t know how he would feel about a dog. Perhaps a very laid back dog who ignores kitties might be okay. Loud noises, lots of activities with people coming and going, and small children would not work for him.
His eyes get a bit weepy, so a quick daily cleaning is recommended and tolerated by him. Boba enjoys both wet and dry food, and is using his litter box appropriately.
ADOPTION FEE $400. FOSTERED IN MEQUON, WI.
