Bitsy

BITSY is a stunning female BLACK PERSIAN. She’s estimated to be around three years old, is spayed and has her claws. A petite girl at six pounds, Bitsy found herself homeless and in an Indiana animal shelter. That’s all we know about her past. But what we do know is that this girl is GORGEOUS! She wears a midnight coal black coat with spectacular copper eyes and a sweet tiny black nose. Even more importantly, Bitsy is as sweet on the inside as she is lovely on the outside.

This girl loves to follow her foster family around the room and help with chores, and now she’s ready for a home of her own. Respectful kids who would play with Bitsy would be great. She’s super friendly to humans and cats alike, so she’d be a good fit in a home with other cats or just fine as an only. She’s not been around dogs in rescue, but we think with proper introductions, she would do fine with a feline-loving pup.

When she came into rescue, Bitsy had a broken canine tooth, which had to be removed. But her mouth is all healed now, and it doesn’t bother her at all. Otherwise, she got a clean bill of health from our vet. As with any Persian, Bitsy’s new family needs to understand the importance of keeping her groomed, so she doesn’t get mats. We can’t say she loves to be combed, but she tolerates it well. She enjoys her wet food and is asking for a home who doesn’t mind feeding it.
