Bink

BINK is a gorgeous BLACK PERSIAN with golden eyes and an adorable face. She is 2 years old, spayed, has her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. She weighs around 9 lbs.

Bink was surrendered to our organization when her previous owner felt that in their home with six other cats Bink wasn’t getting the attention she deserves. With a heavy heart they asked our organization to find her a home where she can either be an only kitty, or perhaps with one other feline friend. She cannot be adopted into a home with a silver or white Persian cat since she had a bad experience with a white Persian male before..

Bink will take a little bit of time to adjust to her new environment. When she first came into foster care, she was hiding for a couple of days, but now when her foster mom comes to see her and calls for her, Bink comes right up for some loving. She also likes to rub herself against her foster mom.

Her foster mom cannot guarantee how long it will take for Bink to come around on her own and to sit next to her person(s). According to her previous owner, she is a girl that likes to be included in activities and wants to be around her family. We were also told that Bink loves any games where she gets to run and chase, especially the laser. Apparently the screen saver on their TV that plays snoopy cartoons was a favorite of Bink, with a weird obsession with Woodstock.

Bink is not a fan of being groomed, so she would benefit from a home where her family takes her for a lion cut a couple of times a year. She is currently sporting one.

Her previous owner stated that they have a cat savvy teenage girl who was Bink’s friend, so we feel that cat savvy older children who want to engage with some play time would be fine for her.

Her foster parents don’t have dogs, but perhaps a gentle dog who loves kitties might be fine for her.

Bink eats both wet and dry food. She is using her litter box perfectly.
