Berra
BERRA is a sweet SNOWSHOE SIAMESE with blue eyes. She is 4 years old, spayed, has her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped. She is a voluptuous girl at a little over 12 lbs.
Berra came into rescue with a big male cat after the owner’s child developed allergies.
Initially a little on the shy side, it only took a day or two for Berra to come out of her shell. She now hops off the cat tree as soon as she sees or hears her foster mom and comes over for some rubs. She becomes a little purr machine when her foster mom shows her some much appreciated love and affection.
Her foster mom is very smitten with this sweet girl; just look at her very distinct and unique facial markings…too cute for words.
Her previous owners stated that she was a great kitty to live with. They mentioned that she likes sitting on laps, enjoys glitter balls and catnip, and looking out of windows. Her foster mom has no problem picking her up to bestow a couple of quick smooches on her adorable face. And while Berra’s foster mom hasn’t had her for long, she can attest that Berra is the kind of kitty people will treasure having around. She doesn’t seem to be too intrusive, but is just the right amount of connected with the people she comes to trust.
As already mentioned, Berra has lived with a docile male cat, so with proper introductions, she should do well with another laid-back cat (or two). She also lived with four large dogs that she got along with just fine. Children should be okay for her, though she does seem to get spooked with loud noises and sudden moves.
Her foster mom has switched her to a healthy wet food diet along with a limited amount of kibble, which will help over time with shedding some weight. She uses her litter box perfectly.
