Baker
BAKER is a male BLUE POINT EXOTIC SHORTHAIR. He is 7 years old, neutered and has his claws. He is up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and is microchipped. He has perfect litter box habits as well. Baker had a senior bloodwork and all looked good.
Baker requires less grooming with both his face and coat, but does require some face wiping and brushing once or twice per week as he does have a plush coat.
Baker is the more reserved one of the two. He does not care as much for loud noises, so young children would likely be too much for him. He is a lovebug and once you find his just right spot, he will give you all of the purrs. He does not mind being picked up and carried. He does love to play with toys once you engage him. He will take a bit longer to come around, but is still a sweet and loving guy.
Baker is on Hills C/D food both wet and dry. Some years ago, Baker had a UTI, so he was placed on this food. Since then, he has had no issues with this. He must remain on this food.
He is rooming with other cats and has been just fine with them. He is not looking for wrestling playmates, but rather just company. He was also introduced to the resident dog. Baker was a bit more reserved, but would be fine if given proper and slow introductions. High energy breeds, young dogs, or dogs looking for a playmate would not be appropriate. Older children would be fine as long as the children are respectful and understand boundaries and space.
