Angie

What’s cuter than a little tuxedo kitty????  Nothing!!! ( at least that’s what her foster mom thinks (-; ) Especially this little girl,  as she is all dressed up with her white v-neck and mittens and boots and let’s not forget those long white whiskers too!

So who is this cutie?  Please say Hello to ANGIE.   She is approximately 4 months old, TUXEDO ( Black Tabby with White) DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR.   She is spayed, has received all her necessary kitten vaccinations-including rabies, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped,  has all her claws and weighs in a bit over 4 lbs.

Angie made her way to SPCR when she was found as single kitty, taken to a shelter that was overcrowded at the time and so they reached out to see if we could help her and of course we couldn’t say no to that face……

Angie is growing up into a delightful girl!   Yes, she is a kitten, so she loves to play and explore and play some more with just about anything that moves.  Her favorite play time though is when she gets to play with a feathered wand toy with someone.  Like most kitties and cats she does like to watch the birdies and chipmunks and other wildlife outside of course too.  Angie also has her quiet times where she may find an open cat bed to take a long nap during the day. Or may come sit next to or in her foster moms lap looking for pets. At night she will often come and curl up next to her foster mom looking for pets and start purring and then fall fast asleep.

Angie eats both wet and dry food, but loves her wet food and gets very excited at feeding times. She doesn’t talk a lot,  but that is the one time she likes to let you know she’s ready to eat!   Her foster parents are looking for a forever home that will continue to feed her wet food now and in the future. She uses her litter boxes 100% and also uses the scratching posts and boxes available to her.

Angie had been introduced to a couple other kittens while in her foster home as well as their own cats and has done well with most of them because she learned who appreciates her kitty antics and who doesn’t.  She especially likes the Big Boys that reside at her foster home (as you see in one of her pictures) because they are the most laid back and she likes to snuggle in and sleep with them. Because of her experiences here at her foster home, her foster parents feel, given a slow and proper introduction, she should do well with all but the most timid or domineering kittens /cats.  She definitely will need to go to a home with either another young kitten(s) already living there or with an easy going cat or cats that have lived with an active kitten before.

Because Angie now knows her foster parents and home and their cats she is a confident girl here, but her foster mom knows that she will start out shy in a new environment with new people and other pets, as she did when she first came to her foster home. So she will need some time to settle into her new home before she shows you her confident self. She is used to a quiet home environment and has not been around children.  But she should be fine with older kids (10 and up) who have grown up with kittens/cats. She has not been around dogs before but may be ok, given a slow and proper introduction, with a calm dog that has lived with playful cats and kittens before.

Angie is a wonderful, loving little kitty looking for her wonderful, loving forever home❣️
