Angelie
Angelie came back into foster care when the previous owners couldn’t take care of her any longer. She was surrendered with another female Siamese who she got along with fine. She also did fine rooming with our male foster cat Purrcy who was recently adopted.
When Angelie first came into foster care, she was very shy and timid. She was in desperate need of a dental and had to have all of her teeth removed, which our organization took care of. That translates to the good news is that going forward she will never need another dental again.
Her foster mom adores this gentle sweetheart. While she is still a bit shy when being approached, she has turned into a loving and connected little softy girl. When her foster mom watches TV, Angelie jumps up on her foster mom’s lap and cuddles next to her. She loves getting her pretty little head rubbed and can sometimes be quite vocal expressing her appreciation.
She has also turned into a bit of a play monster to the delight of her foster mom. When DaBird comes out, Angelie is showing off her inner little huntress by jumping up high in the air to catch the flying object. It is so delightful and heartwarming to watch, and an indication that she is becoming braver and more confident by the day. Other than that, she is perfectly okay spending time by herself, making her ideal for someone who loves to be home with a pretty, soft, and non-intrusive feline companion.
While she has lived with other cats before, her foster mom does think that ideally Angelie would prefer to be a single kitty so that she can soak up the attention of her human. Her foster mom also believes that she will eventually form a very deep connection with her trusted guardian.
Her ideal home is with an understanding, compassionate adopter who understands that some cats need a little extra time to become very comfortable in their new home. An adult home without a dog or children is a must; a mild mannered, easy going cat around her own age should be fine with proper introductions.
Angelie eats both wet and dry food and is using her litter box perfectly. This sweet little girl is ready for her forever home.
