Almond

ALMOND is a male FLAME POINT ORIENTAL SHORTHAIR. He is around 2 years old, is neutered, current on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative and is microchipped.

Almond is a retired breeder cat who came to SPCR (along with other oriental shorthair cats) when their breeder could no longer care for them.  He is an AMAZING cat. If someone is looking for an inquisitive, affectionate cat who loves humans…then look no further than Almond!

Almond loves to get petted, brushed and held.  He likes to play with wand toys and sit in sunny windows.  He eats both wet and dry food, and loves Churu treats.

Almond gets along with other cats, and would love a playmate. He has never been around dogs, but would probably do fine with a dog who would ignore him.  He would also do well with older kids who would play with him and give him attention.

Oriental cats are very busy cats. So his new owner will have to realize that he will need to be given adequate play time each day.
