ACORN is an adorable 1 year old BUFF DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR male cat. He is fully vetted including neutered,  feluk/fiv negative, has his rabies and distemper vaccine,  revolution and microchip.

Acorn was originally brought into Chicago animal control because he was unable to see and was walking into trees. It turned out Acorn had entropian, or eye lids that were rolled into his eyes and preventing him from seeing. Luckily he has a great vet team that did surgery on all 4 eye lids which gave Acorn a new opportunity at life.

Acorn has healed very well and has  turned into a great cat! He loves his foster parents and follows them around the house. He is now very good with other calm cats.  Acorn is learning how to play with toys. He loves to play in tunnels and is starting to use the cat trees.  He does not require any medicine for his eyes.

Acorn currently eats both dry and canned food.
