Cade and Gavin

CADE is a 10 month old two tone Buff Domestic Shorthair and GAVIN is a 10 month old Tuxedo Domestic Shorthair, both with gold eyes. Both boys are very sweet, and suit each other perfectly! Brothers from another mother, but they are always together!

They are up to date on distemper and rabies vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, fiv/felv negative, neutered and have their claws. They eat wet and dry food, and love freeze dried chicken as a nightly treat.

They are both wonderful boys! Love to sleep with us at night. When the fostermom sits on the floor, both are on her lap. Both can be picked up, and Cade loves cradling on his fostermom’s shoulder. Gavin adores belly rubs, both love petting, cheek scritches, combing, and spending time in the same room as the fosterparents.

Cade is always the first to greet strangers, and get his pets and scritching, but here is the difference between the boys. When Gavin came into fostercare, he had no, one on one interaction with nice people. It took love and patience to get him to think people weren’t so bad. He lacks confidence, and will hide or climb up on a tall cat tree when strange people come over. Once he gets to know and trust you, he is a WONDERFUL boy, just as loving and friendly as Cade. In the end, it will be well worth it. They both are so loving and just very sweet boys!

They both love to help, especially if making beds is involved or folding laundry. They are always near each other, and can be found often grooming each other, taking a nap together, or watching the birds on their cat tree by the window, or hanging out in the enclosed catio. They are over that young kitten energy, but like to occasionally do some low level wrestling together, and have the zoommies especially after supper. They love lounging on cat trees to watch the birds and see what’s going on in the backyard.

They will need time to  acclimate to their new home, especially Gavin, but once they do, they are so sweet. Young kids would be too much for these guys.
