HUCKLEBERRY is a darling SEALPOINT HIMALAYAN. He is about 5 years old, neutered and has his claws. He weighs around 8 pounds and has a full, silky coat and one lively blue eye.

Huckleberry has had a pretty difficult life up to this point, starting in Saudi Arabia where he was neglected and abandoned in terrible condition. Fortunately a Good Samaritan took him and a number of other cats under her wing and flew them back with her to Alaska for care and to find them new homes. She reached out to SPCR as she wanted the best placement for them and they found themselves on a plane to Chicago and then to foster care!

Huckleberry is a sweet, gentle boy who loves petting and attention. He gets along great with other cats and his silly little eye is always full of mischief. He is usually purring and will make someone very happy. He is good about combing and brushing and has been fully vetted, including a dental cleaning, so he is ready to go! The best home would be adult, experienced with the care of long haired cats and committed to giving this boy everything he never had.
