Aubrey
AUBREY is a beautiful little BLUE LYNX POINT SIAMESE MIX. She is approximately 16 weeks old, has been spayed, received all her appropriate kitten vaccinations (distemper and rabies) tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is microchipped, has all her claws and currently weighs 4.3 pounds.
Besides being beautiful, Aubrey is Playful: She especially loves to play with the mink mouse wand toy ( which will be going with her to her forever home) and then next are little stuffed mice toys that she throws up in the air and pounces on , and then yes, she’s a kitten, so just about anything that moves. She’s Inquisitive: Will follow her foster parents around to see what’s behind that door or in that drawer. Smart: It didn’t take her long to figure out how to get to the top of the cat trees and then how to get down and the best spots to watch the birdies and chipmunks and squirrels from and where the best spot to be is at feeding time. And of course LOVING: Her foster parents call her an equal opportunity lap kitty as she’ll go from one lap to another looking for pets, then choosing one, the purrs start and she’ll fall asleep on that lap until you move and then she’ll move to another lap and do the same. She can be picked up and held ( when she’s not in full play mode) and carried around and then the purring may start up too. While she does like to be around her foster parents she does have an independent side too and will often go exploring or for a nap in another room at times during the day. The one thing we have noticed is that she is not much of a talker at this time.
She has an easy care, short hair coat along with those pretty blue, slightly crossed, almond shaped eyes. She LOVES food and eats both wet and dry, although she is fed more wet than dry. She does use scratching post and boxes. And her litter box use is 100%. And she does great while visiting the veterinary clinic!
Aubrey has been introduced to her foster homes own cats and her interactions with them is going very well. In fact she can get some of the bigger boys to move with her own little bit of kitty sass. So we know she’ll be fine, given a proper introduction, with most cats or kittens. Because of this her foster parents are looking to place her in a home with other playful kittens/cats. She has not been around a dog, but should be fine, given a slow introduction to a dog that is easy going and has lived with active kittens before. She has also not been around children, but should be ok with older( 8+), respectful kids that have grown up with kittens and cats.
Aubrey is a happy little girl, who’s sure to bring smiles and purrs to her adopters home.
