This boy has a great personality and enjoys lots of pets. He is a very loveable guy. He also really enjoys playing with wand toys and springs.

Wet food is his favorite, but is offered both dry and wet. Bernie is a typical Persian who needs his face wiped daily due to his flat face. He does tend to get dirty after eating too, but does great for daily face washings and actually enjoys getting this done.

This boy does have a heart murmur and may need a cardiac workup sometime in the future. He did fine under anesthesia, for his neuter at this time. For this, he is being listed as a special needs kitty.

With proper introductions, Bernie would do just fine with other cats. He was not the biggest fan of the resident dog, so he would prefer a dog free home. He was tested with both younger and older children and he has decided that they are a bit too unpredictable for him, so he will need to go to a home without kids.
