POPEYE is an adorable ORANGE TABBY w/WHITE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR blind kitten who is ready to find a home.  Popeye was born with small underdeveloped eyes and came to SPCR as a special needs kitten.  He is currently 4 to 5 months old.  Popeye is neutered, feluk/fiv negative,  has had his rabies and distemper vaccines plus his microchip.

Popeye is a super sweet kitten.  He will need a little time to learn and memorize his new home.  That is why it is very important with blind cats that the adopter not move furniture often or place new things in his walking path frequently.  Once he learns his way around Popeye does a great job navigating his way around.

Popeye is good with other cats that don’t play rough or want to tackle him.  Popeye loves to play with toys.  He has multiple cat trees and tunnels in his foster home that uses all day long.

Popeye is great friends with Nikki the kitten, who is also looking for a home.  They do not need to go together but it would be great for both of them!

Popeye needs a quieter home.  No dogs or young children. He is very sweet and loving with people and is a favorite of the staff at the vet clinic that takes care of him.

Popeye is eating both canned and dry food.
