Meet Sugar – Your Shadow and Snuggle-Buddy

SUGAR is a 4 year old SPHYNX with a heart as warm as her velvety skin. She is spayed, fully vetted, and has all her claws. At 9 pounds, she’s the perfect size for lap-lounging and snuggle sessions – and trust us, she’ll take full advantage. This girl lives for affection. Confident, outgoing, and sometimes a little extra with her love, Sugar will gladly follow you around the house, rub against you, or sneak into your lap blanket for maximum closeness.

Sugar would prefer to be the center of attention, but may tolerate an older feline companion who doesn’t bother her much. She avoids dogs and will likely be happier without one in her home. She won’t mind children if they give her another lap to lay on. She has a strong personality and has no problem communicating her wants and needs.

Special Needs Status: Sugar is being listed as “special needs” due to a quirk we like to call her creative litter box interpretation. While she urinates in the box 100% of the time, she sometimes chooses to poop next to it instead. There is no medical issue – it’s just a little personality quirk that’s easy to manage. Because she is completely healthy, we’ve found it’s quite simple to pick up the little errant “tootsie roll” here and there and dispose of it. For the right person, it’s a small price to pay for a whole lot of love.
