DAVID is a fully vetted two year old FLAME POINT HIMALAYAN from Egypt.  David is neutered, has his rabies and distemper shot,  is feluk/fiv negative and is microchipped and dewormed. David came to SPCR at the end of December to save him from a life where he would be used for breeding.

David is a very nice cat.  He is affectionate,  good with other cats that are also young and fun or he can be an only cat.  David (who came with this name but doesn’t know it), loves cat trees.  Whatever home he goes to will need to have one or two tall cat trees.

David also loves to lay in the chair by the window and watch the birds and squirrels.  He is currently eating both canned and dry food.  He will beg at  the table when you start to eat  so we believe he was fed people food in Egypt.  Once he realizes he won’t get any he will walk away.

David stays around his foster family.  He can sit on your lap or will find a chair to lay in very near you.  He is curious with strangers and will come over to greet visitors.  At night he will sleep in bed with you or in a cat bed or tree nearby.

David is a great all around cat.  He enjoys toys. Respectful children over 7 should be fine, however he does not like dogs.  David needs a home experienced with keeping his face clean (it will need to be cleaned daily) and will maintain his coat.
