POPEYE AND MICKEY…are two adorable RED TABBY AND WHITE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR KITTENS. They are around 6months old, neutered and fully vetted.

These handsome boys came into SPCR at the request of a local vet who rescued them from a bad situation. We don’t know exactly what happened to them but being mishandled was certainly part of it. They were very afraid of being grabbed and hit but also love treats. So their foster mom connected the dots between delicious treats and gentle handling and they have come along VERY well! They are affectionate and love attention and are well on their way to becoming amazing companions.

Popeye and Mickey are typical rough and tumble boy kitties who love to play and are very active. They DO NOT have to be placed together but if someone is looking for a really nice pair of brothers, here they are!

The best home for them would be quiet, adult, cat experienced with no kids. Other cats would be fine as would maybe a gentle older dog that would ignore.
