Moxie

MOXIE is a gorgeous, CALICO BRITISH LONGHAIR cat, with beautiful golden eyes. She is 2-3 years old, spayed, has all her claws, is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has tested negative for Felv/FIV.

Moxie came to SPCR as a pregnant momma and she’s been with her foster family for a while to care for her kittens. Now that they are “grown”, she’s ready to move on to the next chapter of her life in a loving home.

Moxie is super friendly and even pushes her kittens out of the way for attention and pets! She also actively plays with her kittens and sometimes her foster family thinks she may have an imaginary friend, because she often runs across the house like she’s being chased (or chasing “someone”)! She also loves all toys, losing and finding them again days later.

Moxie adores her people and loves attention whether it be pets and cuddles or playtime; running to see her foster parents when they enter the foster room. She gets along well with her kittens and is friendly towards other adult cats. Moxie hasn’t been exposed to dogs, but with her easy-going, friendly nature, she would likely do well with a respectful dog with proper introductions and a dog that would give her space if she needs it. Moxie has not been exposed to children but with her gentle nature, respectful children of any age would be fine. Moxie likes her humans and is looking for a home with regular playtimes, good food and regular head scratches.
