BONNIE BELL (BB, the Beebs), is a beautiful 1 year old spayed HIGHLANDER with all of her claws. She is also up to date with rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipped, and tested fiv/felv negative.

Highlander’s have curled ears and are born with no tail.  Curled ears do need special attention due to susceptibility to ear infections.  She recently finished treatment for one, and will require occasional ones in the future, so it’s important that she receives regular vetting.

BB is an independent, smart, cautious, funny, and energetic young lady, who will need to go to a home with an experienced cat owner. Because she is very shy at first, she is listed as special needs. It’ll take time for her to trust her new human companion.

BB came to SPCR from a shelter, where she was not doing well.  It took time and patience to gain BB’s trust.  She still is averse to being petted or handled, but given time, she may be your next best buddy!

BB needs a home that understands this breed’s special traits.  Curls are very athletic, who need exercise and interaction.  She will need places to climb, jump and sharpen her claws. Fostermom says she really enjoys playing with fishing poles and getting treats. She is very fun to watch and play with, and given time and patience, BB may become more affectionate with her human family.

She enjoys the company of a confident, playful cat with a proper, slow introduction. She also enjoys gentle and respectful dogs. She would thrive in an environment with other pets and plenty of places to climb and explore.  She would also do best with either no or older, respectful children, over the age of 14 yrs old.
