Cookie

Cookie is a 8 lb., 3 year old, spayed BLUE POINT HIMALAYAN with all of her claws. She has a fabulously fluffy coat and beautiful blue eyes. She has been fully vetted and is ready to go to her forever home.

Cookie came to SPCR via breeder surrender.  Cookie is a timid lady.  She comes off as shy, but once you have gained her trust, she loves to rub against your legs and get pets.

Once Cookie is comfortable with you, she loves neck scritches and back scratches.   She likes wand toys and catnip-filled toys to chase and kick.

Cookie does ok with some cats.  She is easily bullied so it needs to be with a calm, respectful cat with a proper, slow introduction. She is not a fan of dogs, but she has become used to the foster’s mellow, gentle labrador.  She warms up faster to women.  She is distrustful of men, but with time she can be won over.  She would thrive in a quiet environment.  Older, respectful and patient children could work with her.  Cookie will need a patient person to help her understand how to be a house cat. Cookie would love a home where she can feel confident she is safe and can be worshipped as a beautiful queen (she really thinks she is royalty). Once she knows you are hers forever, she will be a wonderful companion.
