Eliot

ELIOT is a LYNX POINT SIAMESE SNOWSHOE MIX with blue eyes. He is 2-3 years old, has his claws, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. This adorable boy weighs a little over 8 lbs.

Eliot came to us from a shelter where he was very much loved by the shelter staff. However, the shelter doesn’t get a lot of traffic, so they contacted SPCR and asked to bring him into foster care, and of course we couldn’t say no.

His foster mom immediately fell in love with this sweet boy, and what is not to love about a Lynx Point Siamese? True to the breed description, Eliot is a very social and playful boy. This breed is known to be naturally gentle, quiet, laid-back, and one of the most friendly cat breeds. They are also known to be intelligent, affectionate and even “passionate” which describes Eliot to a T. He will come to either his foster mom or foster dad and bestow some smooches on their faces, usually when they are in a horizontal position.  😉

He enjoys being petted and doesn’t mind getting picked up by his foster mom when she has the need to smooch on him. Eliot has made himself right at home with his foster parents’ own male kitties, but we know he can be a bit intense for sensitive or less confident cats so that would not be a good match. He would also do very well as a single kitty with a guardian who can spend a good amount of time with him.

Although his foster parents don’t have dogs, we believe he would be okay with a cat friendly dog. He should also be fine with children, though small children who may accidentally leave a door open could cause him to escape since he is definitely fast as well as curious.

Eliot had a dental and he eats both wet and dry food . He uses his litter box perfectly.
