Sweetie Pie and Puddin
These cute little faces belong to SWEETIE PIE and PUDDIN. They are 15 week old siblings. Sweetie Pie is a pretty PATCH TABBY DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR and Puddin her brother is a handsome MACKEREL TABBY DOMESTIC MEDIUMHAIR . Both have green/gold eyes. They have received all of their kitty vaccinations (distemper- series of 3 and rabies), are spayed and neutered, FIV/ FeLV negative, dewormed, microchipped and have their claws.
These two are like peas in a pod, what one does the other isn’t far behind. They love to play together, kitty wrestle together, nap together, get the zoomies together, and of course share their meals together (although every now and then Puddin sticks out his little paw and gives a growl to his sister to let her know he’s loving their food a bit to much that day and doesn’t really want to share) But like siblings they don’t always do everything together or alike. Puddin does like to hog toys sometimes by carrying them off to a different area of their foster room… and Sweetie Pie is the more confident of the two, so is the first to want to explore an open drawer or see what’s behind a door. When they aren’t playing, they will come settle down next to you at times looking for pets and scritches on their cheeks or bum. Both have fallen asleep in their foster moms lap at times when they are all tucked out from play. And at night they will often both sleep on or between their foster moms legs snuggled into a Sherpa blanket.
But like many kittens they are geared more for playing at this age than cuddling. Everything can become a play toy, and if it moves that makes it even more inviting so the broom their foster mom uses to clean up a bit or even the litter scoop when she cleans out the litter box, can become something fun. They also love watching the birds and other critters as well as what’s happening in the neighborhood. They Love to eat both wet and dry food and of course treats, especially Churu’s. Litter box use is 100% for both and they do use scratching posts and boxes.
With a proper and slow introduction they could live with other playful kitties, but their momma has been very protective of them, and so they learned that other kitties are something to be wary of. The foster home they are in does not have a dog, so it is not known how they would be with living with one. But as with other kitties, given a slow and proper introduction, they may be fine with a dog that has lived with more than one active kitten before (my guess is a wagging tail would become a play toy for these two). Of course they would be fine being the only 4-legged family members in their forever home too. They have not been around children in their foster home, but should be ok with respectful older kids (13+) that have grown up with young kittens and know how to pick them up and play with them with appropriate toys, not hands.
These two are happy, healthy kitties are looking for a home that they can play and be loved and grow old in together. ADOPTION FEE $180 (for the pair). FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI
