Project Description

Sebastian… He’s a gentle giant of a four-year-old seal point Siamese boy who has his claws. He is also FIV +.   He is very submissive and gets along well with other cats. (This is important to note because it is quite common for FIV+ cats to live very long lives and be otherwise generally healthy in a community of cats, as long as there’s no aggressive fighting that would lead to a deep bite wound that would transfer the disease to any other cat.) He is mildly talkative and loves to be petted. He would make a great addition to a family of cats, or would be fine being an only cat as well. He would do well with respectful children, and other cats and dogs, as long as appropriate introductions were given.  Anyone considering adoption must be willing to provide regular medical check ups – once or twice a year, as well as be willing to address any problem they might see immediately. With cats who test positive for FIV, a loving home,  healthy food, and regular medical attention can provide them with the support to live a good, long life.  Sebastian would be a sweet and loving  addition to your family.  Fostered in Roscoe Illinois. Adoption fee $125.
