Right up front we are indicating that Piper is a Special Needs kitty and we are looking for a very specific, dedicated home for her.

Firstly, like 90% of this breed, Piper has Cardiomyopathy, which is an enlarged heart. She was just seen by a cardiologist. This condition does not affect her in any way at this time and she is on no medications but she will need to be seen regularly by a cardiologist to keep her as healthy as possible with this condition.

Secondly, Piper does best on the refrigerated cat food Fresh Pet, which is pretty easy to find (Www.freshpet.com). She does have digestive issues on dry and canned food.

Thirdly, Piper does best with a very specific sort of litterbox setup which is not difficult to do, just quirky. She does require a large box with clumping litter in it as well as a smaller box next to it with a puppy pad in it (provided by the foster home). She has done extremely well with this setup and has gone on to use the box with litter only 100%.

Piper is fine with other easy going cats that will not bully or chase her. She is constantly on the go and is not a couch potato kitty. We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, adult home that will give her all the attention and love she so wants and will be willing and able to provide for her needs.
