Project Description

Nina

NINA loves you already, and you’ve only just met through a picture! Nina is a BENGAL and is hoping her big green eyes will capture your heart because this big lovable kitty just knows her forever home is out there somewhere. She is about 3 years old, weighing in at 15 pounds and has all her claws. Speaking of claws she is excellent with using her scratching posts/boards and has had great litter box manners. Not to mention she is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and microchipped.

Her foster mom says whenever she goes into the foster room she is greeted with a chirp and an adorable head tilt from Nina. This charmer knows she’s adorable and is not afraid to flaunt it. She is an expert at the “plop and roll” to get your attention and loves showing off her belly in hopes of getting a belly rub. Speaking of which is probably the softest fur you will ever feel. Although Nina isn’t what you would call a lap cat she is a big fan of lounging around and just being nearby. When not relaxing she is a busy kitty that spends her time playing, looking out the window and climbing. Her favorite toy is her feather wand toy. In true Bengal fashion she has an attraction to water and before drinking she almost always dips her paw in for a sample. She is everything this breed is about: loving, devoted, playful, and curious. She is not too talkative, but will talk when she feels there is something to say or when she is stuck in the car.

Nina seeks a mature and experienced owner who can meet her every need, which includes spoiling her rotten with a good balance of lounging around and playing. She needs an owner that is willing to supply a nice comfy lap, lots of snuggly blankets and that is willing to tire her out when she is playful. Not to mention she would probably love a catio. This intelligent, sweet and loving Bengal would do well as an only pet or with another cat as long as introductions are done properly. She has had both positive and negative experiences with dogs- so it would be a case-by-case basis. Respectful children who are willing to give her pets, attention and some extra playtime are okay in her book. Most of all she prefers a calm home but loves to get lots of attention on her terms.
