Project Description

Marlee

MARLEE is a 9-year old white PERSIAN. She’s spayed, front-paw declawed and a tiny mite weighing around 7 pounds. This is one sweet, frisky girl who loves to sleep and play – pretty much in that order. Marlee sports a luxuriously thick snow-white coat and watches the world through mesmerizing gold eyes. Cuteness spoiler: Marlee is often seen out and about with her little pink tongue sticking out. This girl first came into rescue about a year ago with six other Persians from a retiring breeder. She was adopted out, but her new family can no longer care for her. Hey, it’s your lucky day because now you can have that white Persian you’ve always wanted. First and foremost, Marlee is all about food and eating. She loves her canned food and is asking for a family that will provide lots of it. She gets canned food for breakfast and her foster mom sneaks her a snack before bedtime. Marlee was a breeder mama who had lots of kittens back in the day and lived with many other smushy-faced Persians. She gets along with other cats but can be a bit bossy, so she prefers roomies who ignore her. She’s pretty much a live and let live when it comes to other furries. We think she’d be okay with a gentle dog who would ignore her. Older, respectful kids would be fine, too. Marlee has a heavy coat that is a lot for such a little girl to manage, so her new family will either need to keep her combed or get her professionally groomed every few months. Her gorgeous eyes are typical of her breed and need daily cleaning. Marlee is either deaf or nearly deaf, but she doesn’t seem to notice. And it helps her get an even better night’s rest. She had a senior panel done recently and the doc gave her a clean bill of health, so she’s making her retirement plans. And they include YOU. Apply for her today. FOSTERED IN PEORIA, IL. ADOPTION FEE $175.
