Project Description

Kenya

Kenya is a beautiful, deaf BLACK DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR.  She is 2 years old, front paw declawed, spayed and weighs 8 pounds. Kenya was adopted from SPCR just over a year and a half ago to a loving couple with one older child. However when living arrangements changed, and 2 high school family members moved in, Kenya became very overwhelmed and afraid.

Kenya lived with other calm cats and dogs in her first foster home and with her adoptive family. She slept at the edge of the bed with her parents every night. Kenya loves to be held and has so much love to give. She tends to be a little afraid at first but warms up quickly when she realizes she is with friends. Kenya’s favorite toys are the plastic spring toys.

Kenya is looking for a calm new home. A respectful child, cat or dog is fine, but multiple children, hyper dogs, or cats that play rough would be too much for her.  Kenya is a great kitty with a sleek black panther coat. She seeks out love and companionship. Please give her a chance at truly finding her forever loving home. SPECIAL NEEDS (deaf) ADOPTION FEE $50. FOSTERED IN GURNEE, IL.
