Project Description

Katherine and Jilly

Talk about two peas in a pod!  Meet Katherine “Kate” and Jilly. These adorable girls came into SPCR with their purebred big sister when their owner could no longer care for them. They are just shy of 6 months old, have their claws, and are spayed. Both girls are brown tabby (with a super soft coat), Jilly is the lighter and more petite of the two. Jilly is just under and Kate just over five pounds. Each have adorable green eyes, with a slightly crossed eye look that is ever so charming.  If you are looking for kitten fun, look no further. These littermates enjoy just about everything. They run, jump, climb the cat trees, watch out the window, chase after mice, plastic spirals, wand toys…I haven’t found a toy they do not enjoy. And best yet, they love snuggling. Kate is the first to jump into your lap and has the most wonderful purr that instantly starts. Jilly is a bit more active (typical of kitten) but also tolerates being picked up and loved on.  They are so sweet it is easy to shower them with hugs and kisses. Both girls have lived with other cats. They haven’t been around dogs or children yet, but given how young they are, with proper introductions, they should adapt fine. They are very gentle so I would welcome a young family applying. The girls do not need to go home together, but it is preferred that kittens are adopted in pairs or to a home with another young companion. Adoption fee $100 each or $150 for the pair. FOSTERED IN DUBUQUE, IA.
