Project Description

JEFFERSON…is a handsome BLACK AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN. He is around 9 years old, neutered and front declawed. He weighs around 9 pounds and has a full, silky coat and amazing copper eyes. Jefferson came to us from a shelter where he had been relinquished for euthanization. We don’t know how or why that had happened to him…his paperwork said nothing. But he was very stressed when he came into foster care and we suspect something bad had been going on in his previous home. Once he settled into foster care his true personality began to emerge and we saw he has a very sweet side. Take a look at his video below and you will see it as well! He very much enjoys petting and attention and always comes running when his foster mom comes into the room. He is currently rooming with several other cats and gets along with them fine. As is described in his video, Jefferson has more of a “female Persian” personality than typical male, meaning that he likes things the way he likes them and doesn’t like what he doesn’t like. He is a sweet boy and loves attention but when he is done he is done. Experienced cat people know exactly what this means, LOL. As a result he will thrive best in a quiet, adult, cat experienced home with folks who are familiar with the upkeep of this breed. His face is pretty flat but he breathes fine and his eyes only need cleaning now and then. His teeth are fine and he had a full senior panel to ensure health. He is not on any special foods or medications at this time. Jefferson is fine with short periods of grooming as long as it doesn’t pull too much. His coat is needs moderate maintenance and keeping him in a short cut may even be the easiest way to go. This guy escaped a pretty final fate just by a whisker and now needs to find his FurEver home! Adoption Fee $200. FOSTERED IN KENOSHA, WI.
