Say hello to AUGGIE, a handsome and happy MACKERAL TABBY AND WHITE MAINE COON MIX. He is approximately 1-year old, neutered and weighs about 9 pounds. He has his claws, which he uses on his scratching post and boxes. He has excellent litter box manners. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is microchipped. He has beautiful hazelnut eyes with hints of green. His coat is silky, colored in grays, caramels and white, and what more can we say about THAT TAIL!?!
Auggie has been a delight to foster! He’s affectionate, loves pets and likes to rub his face on your cheek. At night, he likes to sleep next to your head or on your chest for awhile. Another really cute habit is that he loves to sleep under the bed covers during the day. So when his foster mom comes into his room she just has to look for the lump under the covers and there’s Auggie! He is an outgoing boy, although he can act a bit shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take him long to come see who’s visiting. Bring out a wand toy and he’s out even faster. Yes, this young boy loves to play! Wand toys, catnip toys, small balls, just about anything. He can easily entertain himself too, and of course he likes a good nap!
Auggie is currently sharing his foster room with two other young cats and they all get along well together. He does outweigh his roommates though, so he tends to dominate during playtime. Because he can be exuberant when playing, he would be fine with other active cats, similar in size, that don’t mind sharing toys. Auggie would do best in a home with children 7-years or older. His foster home does not have a dog, so we’re not sure how he would respond to one. He may be fine, given a slow introduction to a dog that has been around active, young cats before.
If you’ve been looking for a loving, playful, handsome young cat to join your home, Auggie is for you! ADOPTION FEE $150. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI.
